In Finland we have Vasa Concept education system for therapist.
Vasa Concept Level 1: The aim of the course is that the participant of the course is able to assist in the most common Vasa Concept exercises and he / she is able to consider when it is worth choosing one of the basic exercises. The course introduces the basics of the Vasa Concept rehabilitation, and gives tips for networking and activating home practice. The course is useful for all those performing neurological and holistic rehabilitation, as well as physiotherapists and occupational therapists and other health care professionals, as well as patients and their assistants.
Vasa Concept Level 2: Level 2 introduces the background theory of Vasa Concept and especially how information travels in the body from the limbs to the spinal cord and brain and back and forth. This knowledge is also combined with practical exercises and insights on how to rehabilitate the flow of information on the paralyzed side of the body. At the same time, you will learn new Vasa Concept exercises. The course is useful for all those performing neurological and holistic rehabilitation, as well as physiotherapists and occupational therapists and other health care professionals, as well as patients and their assistants.
Vasa Concept workshops: In Finland we arrange Vasa Concept workshops where you learn Vasa Concept exercises and how to assist. On workshops patients, their family, assistants and therapist collects in a gym hall to do exercises. The atmosphere is supporting and patients has goal to true recover and therapists has goal to learn more and more. Vasa Concept workshops are on a pause because of corona pandemic!
